No. Small jobs are most of our work. A single loose handle or one shelf is a perfectly good reason to call. We'd rather fix it properly now than watch it become a bigger repair later.
How does pricing work?
We explain pricing before work begins. For a list of small jobs, we review the list with you, agree on the scope, and give you a clear price before anything starts. No surprise charges.
Do you handle electrical or plumbing work?
We handle small, non-licensed tasks — like replacing a fixture cover or a faucet aerator. Work that Connecticut law reserves for licensed electricians and plumbers is outside our scope, and we'll tell you plainly when a job needs a licensed professional.
Can I combine several small jobs?
Yes — please do. A grouped list is the most efficient way to use a visit. Write down everything that's annoying you and we'll work through it in the order that makes sense.
Do I need to know which service to choose?
No. Tell us in your own words what's bothering you — 'the kitchen door won't close' is perfect. We'll figure out which service it falls under.
Do I have to send photos or use an online form?
No. The website is here when it's convenient, but a phone call works for everything. You never have to email photos or fill out a form unless you want to.
Can someone else be with me during the visit?
Absolutely. Many visits include an adult child, a relative, a neighbor, or a caregiver. We're glad to walk through the list with anyone you'd like present, and to coordinate details with them too.
Do you provide emergency or medical services?
No. We are a handyman service, not an emergency or medical provider. For urgent safety or medical needs, contact your care provider or 911. For non-urgent home fixes, we'll schedule a visit that works for you.
How much does a typical visit cost?
Small-fix visits usually run $120–$300, and a half-day punch list runs $350–$600. Every quote is flat and approved by you before we start — the meter never runs.
How soon can you come out?
Most visits are scheduled within a few days. Hospital-discharge and safety-urgent jobs get priority — tell us the date and we'll work backward from it.
My mom needs grab bars. Can you do the whole bathroom?
